Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance
Ensure the dishwasher is regularly cleaned to prevent buildup of food particles. Clean both the internal and external parts, including the door seals and detergent dispenser. Regularly clean the filters to keep the dishwasher running efficiently.
Correct Loading of Dishes
Load dishes properly to ensure the spray arms can rotate freely. Avoid overloading the dishwasher and make sure that the dishes do not block the movement of the spray arms.
Use the Right Detergent
Use the recommended detergents and in the correct amounts as specified in the operating instructions. Avoid using old or hardened detergent.
Check and Refill Rinse Aid and Salt
Regularly check the levels of rinse aid and special salt. Refill them as needed to ensure optimal cleaning and drying performance.
Proper Installation
Ensure the dishwasher is correctly installed and levelled. The water inlet and drain hoses should not be kinked or squashed. Proper installation helps in preventing leaks and ensures the door seals correctly.
